CONDOS ZC2CA, Zihuatanejo - Fourteen units of one and two bedrooms are built in a terraced fashion up the hillside next to the road that winds around Zihuatanejo Bay. Playa de la Ropa, the best beach in Zihutanejo, is a 5 minute walk down the hill. The bay views from each condo and the pool area are outstanding. Town is easily accessible by taxi or by walking. A cab ride is about 5 minutes and the walk is about 20 minutes. The nearest restaurants are down the hill at the beachfront Hotel Villa Mexicana or along Playa de la Ropa. There are also a few restaurants along the winding road into Zihuatanejo. A swimming pool and covered palapa lounging area with small wet-bar are available. Each condo has an equipped kitchen, living room with double sofa bed or futon, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a terrace with ocean view. In a 2 bedroom, there is a King bed in the Master bedroom, and the other bedroom has a double. Units have phones, but most do not have TV. Windows are screened providing nice ventilation with natural circulation using the ceilings fans. Furnishings are simple, but charming and comfortable. Maid service is included 3 days per week. CONDOS ZC2MI, Zihuatanejo - Only a 3-5 minute walk to La Ropa Beach, the best beach on Zihuatanejo Bay, these 3 two bedroom units are built one on top of another. They are connected by an inner stairwell with spiral staircase. The top two units have bay views and Jacuzzi type plunge pools on the terrace overlooking the palms and beach. The lower unit does not have an ocean view, but you can step off your terrace to a private garden and small private pool. All units are split level, with a living room and terrace and master bedroom with terrace overlooking the bay and palms. The upper level contains the efficiency kitchen with microwave and second smaller bedroom. The master bedroom has a King bed; the second bedroom two twin beds; a double futon is in the living room. Each bedroom has a private bath. These units are nicely decorated with Mexican art and tile, have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and phone available outside caretaker's apartment. Parking is available. Maid service is daily. Rating: 4 star.

CONDOS ZC2BA, Zihuatanejo - With incredible bay views, architect-designed one and two bedroom condos also offer beautifully decorated interiors. No too units are alike since each owner has used the architect's creative talents for inlaid stone designs in the tiled floors, hand-hewn hardwood posts and beams, unusual bath fixtures, and balconies that have 180 degree (or more) bay views. Early risers can enjoy a special vista with a cup of coffee as the sun begins to light up the tropical bay. The furnishings are tastefully done with Mexican art, comfortable couches, pillow-top beds, indirect lighting, and fully equipped kitchens with marble counter-tops. Each bedroom has a private bath. Most units have a washer-dryer, Satellite TV, stereo, CD player, radio and phone. Units are equipped with quiet mini-split air conditioning in each of the rooms; however, large patio doors and windows provide excellent cross ventilation for natural cooling with ceiling fans. A car is not necessary since taxis are readily available at the bottom of the driveway as they pass by on the scenic road. Taxis can also be called from a nearby hotel. Two infinity pools surrounded by lawn and palms are a relaxing place for warm afternoons. There is 24 hour security and a small gym on site. CONDOS ZC3PR, Zihuatanejo - Terraced on the hillside at the southern end of Playa de la Ropa, just a 5 minute walk to the beach, this white-washed complex of 2 and 3 bedroom units offers privacy and great views. Inside each unit, the decor is Mexican with beautiful tile work, Talavera ceramic lamps, and plenty of space. Outside terraces with vine-covered pergolas are good places for relaxing on lounges, reading or getting some sun. The large pool is steps away from the condos and has a patio and bay view. Each condo has air conditioning, ceiling fans, stereo, CD and tape player, and maid service. Some units have TV. Kitchens are fully equipped and have microwaves; there is a washer/dryer and half bath. Bedrooms have private baths with showers and offer a King, King and two twins. There is extra sleeping on two single sofa beds in the living room. Some master bedrooms have a small private terrace. One of these 3 bedroom units has a Jacuzzi on the terrace. Rating 5 star.
